These beads are made from acai seeds which come from a palm tree (Euterpe Oleracea) that grows in the Peruvian Amazon.  These beads are dyed various colours.  As they are seeds, the size does vary, so 10mm is an average measurement.  What is so attractive about these beads is the natural dark brown markings on them which appear quite randomly.
